FIRE VICTIMS

Thanks to the Wonderful People of Buffalo and Mister Pizza, Saint Lawrence Church was able to feed the handicapped residents displaced by a fire in their apartments. The residents are staying at the Comfort Inn Hotel.

Pizza, Chicken Wings, Beverages & other foods were given to the residents today December 22, 2011. Thank You To All for helping.

    Father Joe wishes to thank Mister Pizza (Mr. Anthony Collicchi) and La Nova Pizzeria (Todaro Family and Mr. Salvatore Pantano) for donating 30 sheets of Pizza, feeding both the Buffalo Fire Department and the Salvation Army during the fire at Niagara Lubricants.

    On May 7, 2011 Father Joseph F. Moreno from Saint Lawrence Church received the Buffalo News Butler Award for his outstanding Community Service to Law Enforcement.

    The award was given by The Buffalo Police Department PBA and the Buffalo News.

      Little Deaglan Carney is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Edward Carney a Transit Police Officer. Deaglan is being treated for a Brain Tumor at Children’s Hospital.

      Deaglan was presented an autographed hockey jersey from Bobby Orr by Officer Pat Panaro (BPD) and Father Joe Moreno Saint Lawrence Church. The Parishioners of Saint Lawrence Church presented Deaglan with a “Father Mickey Mouse Doll”.
